Wait, This Is Real?

Look at me having time to write. Sorry for those who care that I've sorta disappeared. I survived my first shift just fine! I was definately pleased. Yes, the hard stuff of having to be everywhere and do everything and getting yelled at while you're working so hard for them happened, but I did it. :)

My days "off" were pretty busy, but I was able to catch up on some sleep and get a lot of personal stuff done. I got the finished rims for the Mustang and while they weren't what I expected I love them and am really excited about them.

New struggle in my life...re-adjusting to my living situation. Some factors have changed that make me want to take some people down...but I'm doing my best to not let out the beast within. But let me tell you, people be crazy!!!

This place has opened my eyes soooo much to the fact there is no such thing as common sense. People come from so many places and have so many different levels of experiences that there are way too many variations. I love getting to see and learn new things. Enhancing my life through experiencing others. But, it's also a chance for me to teach to others. It's not even the kids so much as it is other employees. Some more than others. But seriously, I don't get some people. I've learned I get very very annoyed when people wet and wipe counters with the large dish towels instead of the regular wash cloths. Weird I know, but ya.

Anyway, I'm half way through my second shift. Def some ups and downs, but a lot of ups. We had a special campus wide Thanksgiving dinner and that was really neat. Got us all dressed up and had dinner with everybody. It was fun to share that time with the kids and other cottages. Tomorrow I'll be in a new cottage. I'm pretty tired, but its my fault. I went to see the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn last night with Vanessa. So ya...I'm kind of appreciative some of the kids have to go to bed early. The campus is starting to slowly clear out though. Many kids go home over the holidays if they have that option. So we have less to do. Again, I'm greatful. Not only is it nice for me, it's amazin they get this time with their families.

I guess that's all for now, but I'll try to do this more!!!
